Eastside Dojo in Plano has an excellent Judo facility accompanied by great coaches and a very welcoming family environment. They have Judo for all ages & sizes. This is where Champions are made.

Had my first day, really was a great learning experience! Josh does a fantastic job explaining the fundamentals and building on them with new techniques to apply. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to continue!

Eastside Dojo is the best Judo academy I've ever seen.  My daughter and I take classes there and we couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of coaches and structure.  Also, everyone is really nice and friendly.

We've had the best experience at Eastside Dojo. My six year old son has finally found a sport he loves. He's excited to go to dojo and has asked to show his gi off to his friends. He's learning discipline and commitment and having a lot of fun. Russ and the team have built a great community.

The diverse experience of the coaching team spans decades and across multiple cultures and continents. This club allows members to pace their own learning- from those who just want to learn self defense to those who want to compete at the Olympic level.  I’ve seen incredible gains in my son’s confidence and teamwork since we started two years ago.  Judo is the only sport he plays that I don’t have to question his commitment to practice....he always reminds me that it’s time for judo. If you find a sport that you and your kid can do together why would you not sign up?

Great atmosphere, very accessible and down to earth people that love judo and love to teach it. Teachers are patient and knowledge. Even though the environment is relaxed and friendly, they encourage competition and everyone seems to have a good time. Classes for children and adults. Again, great people and great environment, even for those that may not be the most naturally athletic and coordinated. Highly recommend!

Thank you for hosting the 2022 USA Judo Veterans World Championship Team training camp. I have been to many Judo clubs and this by far is the best one I've been in.

I have been to my share of martial arts schools and this is by far the best. Everyone is welcome there, all races, ethnicities and skill levels. You can bring your kids to train and then get the best cardio of your life from the adult class while strengthening your body. Also, if you are looking for self defense, judo translates very well in that area.

I finally found a dojo that is authentic. Having trained in judo as a kid, I can see so many martial arts studio existing solely as a means to make a buck. Here, the purpose is the pure sport.

The payment structure is unique too. It lends itself to flexibility and is viable financially for the dojo. You can't ask for anything better.

My kids have been going here for almost a year and a half and I have been extremely satisfied with this dojo and its staff. I played sports all through college and have previously coached at various levels and I cannot say enough how impressed I am with the coaches here. They manage to support and teach kids from various backgrounds, skill levels, ages etc with ease. Whether the kids are top achievers, or struggling the coaches make huge impacts on them. I am also impressed at how practical judo is and the work outs that they put both kids and adults through, all for what is comparatively a bargain.

The owners are really honest. After a tournament my dad left my bag and the place was locked. Although it was closing by hours for the gym these guys were very nice to unlock their gym to let my dad retrieve his bag.

Great place to do Judo. Top notch instructors, lots of people to work with, and you get out what you put into it. The training I've done here the past few months has been the hardest, most intense training I have done in my life, and I enjoy each and every class.

This dojo has some of the best facilities I have seen. We attended a few tournaments here and the people were super friendly and helpful. Check out their website for class schedule because they are open during the day and have tons of different options available to get in and learn.

Best gym in N. Texas. The coaching is top notch and the talent is always on point. Don't miss your opportunity to train here.
