Our Mission
Since its inception in 2013, Eastside Dojo has grown its judo program from a small storefront location to a 10,000-square-foot freestanding building with 2000 square feet of mat space and a weight training and cardio gym. The brand-new finish out includes male and female locker rooms with multiple shower stalls.
We conduct classes for students of all ages and abilities from across Dallas, Plano, and the entire DFW Metroplex. These programs challenge, strengthen, and empower people, mentally and physically. First-timers and experienced judoka are welcome.
Frequent competitions are a crucial part of judo education. We host several tournaments each year which are attended by all the judo clubs in the region.
ESD is a great place to learn judo as a beginner and develop into a competitor. Experienced judo players will find many black belt judokas here to train with.
There are classes for all age groups from kids to adults. You can learn so much from this sport that can benefit you for the rest of your life. It teaches respect, humility, and persistence. It develops strength, balance, flexibility, and cardio.
Dallas Judo, Inc (d/b/a Eastside Dojo) is a registered 501c(3) nonprofit organization and donations are tax-deductible. Our Board is 100% Volunteer Driven.
