At Eastside Dojo we teach competitive judo because competition drives motivation to learn and improve, and it teaches sportsmanship and performing under pressure. We offer dojo member-only tournaments, plus local, regional, state, and national tournaments for those who wish to compete. Competing is never required -- promotions are based on effort, knowledge, and proficiency.
